Half -Life 2 video finally up, featured on Kotaku.

After months of slow and steady work, I finally finished and uploaded the Half-Life 2 video project I've been working on. The kind folks at Kotaku posted about here.

To sum it up I will just repost the YouTube description:

The goal of this project was to take the song "The Dead Flag Blues" and match it with striking imagery from the Half-Life 2 series to create a unique video that fans can enjoy. Call it a trailer, short, montage, music video, machinima, whatever you want, this my tribute to one the best game series around and everyone's favorite hero. Oh, the band rules too.

All video is 100% in-game footage that I recorded and edited myself. Gary's Mod was a big help with some of the scenes.

There you have it, hope you enjoy!

Guild Wars 2 Ambassador Contest & Project Updates

Guild Wars 2 developer ArenaNet launched a contest this month called the "Become A Guild Wars 2 Ambassador" Video Contest 2011. I'm a huge fan of the original Guild Wars games and I'm verrrry excited for GW2 so of course I had to jump on this contest. The premise was simple and left a lot of room for creativity:

"Create a unique video no longer than 1 minute in length that demonstrates passion, creativity, a clear understanding of Guild Wars 2's key features, and that shows your friends why you're going to play Guild Wars 2 and why they should play Guild Wars 2, too.

Make a video blog, live action skit, infomercial, machinima, info-graphic, animation, or anything else you can dream up – as long as it shows people why Guild Wars 2 is the game for them! "

Contest Page & Prizes

The winners are being decided this week. Here's my entry:

Besides the Guild Wars video I've been working on a few more videos using Garry's Mod, Half-Life 2 and the other Valve/Source games. Some of the projects are still in the beginning stages but I'm really about the Half-Life 2 homage video I've been working on. I' hope to have it finished in the near future.

That's all for now, thanks for tuning it!

Up and Running

Hello Everyone! (or all one of you)

The blog has officially launched!  I'll be using it to post videos, updates, random thoughts, and important links & information about my Machinima projects. If you haven't been to my YouTube page be sure to head over and check it out. It's a little light on videos right now, but I have a bunch on the way so keep an eye out for them.
